If you have ever wondered what it would be like to try roller derby, now is your chance!

No experience? No problem!
No skates? No problem!

We will teach you everything you need to know and supply the gear- all we ask is that you bring along a helmet.

Some more details:
-This will be a 12-week intake course. After 12 weeks we hope that you will decide to join our league going forward!
-Your first session is completely free, after that it is just £7 a week
-All genders are welcome to join our intake program! However, to play in our league skaters should identify as female or gender expansive (e.g., non-binary). If you would like to join and identify as male, we have plenty of skating and non-skating positions for you. 
-If you are concerned about transportation just let us know! We have skaters that come from all over Nottingham and surrounding areas who may be able to help. We also have plenty of folk who take the bus/tram
-We often get asked what to wear on your first practice! The answer is: something comfortable. Work-out clothes are usually the best option- we want you to be able to move around and break a sweat without worry
-“I don’t know if I can play, [I’m not athletic/ I’m too old/ I’m so short’]”- nonsense! Roller derby thrives by welcoming people of all different backgrounds and body types. As long as you are 18+ you are welcome to come along
