Never seen roller derby before?
No worries! Our expert announcers will guide you through the action. Roller derby is a fast-paced, full-contact sport played on roller skates. Each team works to help their jammer (the one with the star on their helmet) score points by passing the opposing team’s blockers. Expect hard hits, dazzling moves, and plenty of holiday and Halloween spirit!
As well as three fantastic full-length games of roller derby, we’ll have a great range of stalls on the day, including an always-popular cake and savoury treats stand and an exciting raffle.
This is a family friendly event – children under the age of 16 are welcome free of charge. Please note that under 18s are not permitted in the track-side seating area for safety reasons.
Parking:
Lots of parking is available around the campus. When you arrive please look for the MAIN car park entrance on campus. There will be a parking barrier code in place that you can use to access, and the code will be announced the week of the event.
Please note that this event is a safe space; we welcome everyone and will do our best to ensure that guests, skaters, officials and volunteers can enjoy the day, without feeling uncomfortable or unsafe. We will not tolerate any inappropriate behaviour and therefore reserve the right to exclude any person who violates this policy.
