Back in May we got our skates on to kick start our fundraising drive for our nominated charity Inspire Nottingham and we were overwhelmed by the support from our friends, family and the derby community who forked out over £2000.
For some of us, however, skating for hours in the driving rain was not hardcore enough and so a (very select) few signed up for the Men’s Health Survival of the Fittest in Nottingham October 12th.
In total, eight Super Smash Brollers/ Nottingham Roller Girls will be facing the 10k urban assault course running up and down the City Ground, swimming in freezing cold water and scaling giant obstacles – I know, sounds like a regular Saturday afternoon to any reds fans, but I assure you this is serious stuff.
So join the rest of the gang in wishing all the best to Brawl Jukes, Damndrea, Gem Aargh, Seymour Violence, Rodger That and Jo B-wan Kenobi; as well as Beat’er Block’er and Kat Chmee who will be taking part in a team supporting The Brain Tumour Charity.
